Ruby Red doet denken aan de bekende rode grapefruit (de vrucht zelf, niet de bloem) die overal ter wereld verkrijgbaar is, in de meeste supermarkten en op markten. Wie bekend is met de scherpe citrusgeur en de smaak die je lippen doet samentrekken, zal die herkenning onmiddellijk voelen wanneer hij de Ruby Red-top uit elkaar haalt en rookt. De top ruikt niet alleen naar grapefruit, de rook smaakt ook naar grapefruit en de high komt net zo door als grapefruit: fris, zuiver, scherp.
