Grape Sundae

We debated…white grapes, red grapes, Sunday or sundae. Wine flavors? Grape juice? All of the above!

A Sundae implies that you will be receiving a creamed version of the flavor stated on the menu, usually hinting at a dessert made with ice cream. Each one of us will have in our memories, some version of grape flavor we were raised with. Grape Sundae seems to re-install those taste memories on first inhale.

As our hero Ralph from the Simpson’s may say “taste like purple”

We hebben gediscussieerd… witte druiven, rode druiven, zondag of ijscoupe. Wijnaroma’s? Druivensap? Allemaal!

Een ijscoupe impliceert dat je een romige versie krijgt van de smaak die op het menu staat, meestal verwijzend naar een dessert met ijs. Ieder van ons heeft wel een herinnering aan een bepaalde druivensmaak waarmee we zijn opgegroeid. Grape Sundae lijkt die smaakherinneringen bij de eerste inhalatie weer op te roepen.

Zoals onze held Ralph uit The Simpsons zou zeggen: “smaakt naar paars”.
